Outcaste Records was founded in 1995 by Shabs and Paul Franklyn on the strength of the club night of the same name. The aim was to promote and endorse British-Asian underground music. This led to the formation of Outcaste Music Publishing which became involved in publishing the biggest names in the scene like Nitin Sawhney and Badmarsh & Shri. 12 years on Outcaste's repertoire has expanded to take in other genre's and we have built up a catalogue of critically acclaimed albums and single compositions.
